2015 Honda Civic: reliability and affordability

The choice of engines available with the 2015 Civic coupe and sedan are:  a 4-cyl 1.8 L that delivers 143 hp and 129 lb-ft of torque, a high performance 2.4 L that boasts a healthy 205 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque for the Si versions and a 110 hp 4 cyl 1.5 L engine paired with an electric motor for the hybrid version. All engines are equipped with the innovative and reputable variable cam timing i-VTEC technology that enables them to achieve optimal power and drivability at every rpm range. These engines can be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, a 6-Speed manual (only with Si) and a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with the hybrid. Combined fuel consumption for the 1.8 L engine is 7.7l/100km when coupled with the 5-speed manual transmission, while the hybrid version of the sedan paired with the CVT transmission offers a fuel consumption rating of 5.2l/100km.
