Warranty Administrator

Compensation includes: Salary base and benefits (medical, dental, disability and life insurance)

Duties of a Warranty Administrator include:

  • Prepare, process, record and reconcile warranty claims as per manufacturer policies and procedures.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records of warranty claims.
  • Hold any warranty claims that require manufacturer authorization.
  • Forward warranty claims for defective parts to the manufacturer.
  • Follow-up and resubmit unpaid claims returned by manufacturer.
  • Keep number of outstanding claims to a minimum.
  • Maintain schedules for factory warranty, extended warranty, PDI and ensure balances remain current.

 

Requirements for the Warranty Administrator position include:

  • Excellent customer service skill
  • Bilingualism is an asset
  • High School Diploma
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Experience with computer program Reynolds & Reynolds (ERA) is an asset
  • Familiarity with automotive terminology is an asset
