Subaru Unveils a Picture of the Future XV Before Geneva

Published on February 29 2016

This image, showing a massive and muscular grill, suggests that the XV concept will be just as remarkable as the Impreza concepts already unveiled.

In 2011 at the Frankfurt Auto Show, Subaru received quite a bit of attention when it unveiled the first XV concept that would eventually become the XV Crosstrek.

This small crossover built on the foundations of the Impreza offers more versatility and more space while preserving the agility and maneuverability characteristics that we know and love from the Japanese compact.

Subaru is Ready for the Competition

Five years later, a new 2016 Crosstrek has just hit the market, and earlier this month we also got a first glimpse of a new Subaru XV concept, which will be officially unveiled at Geneva Auto Show, which will open in March.

This is a logical step for Subaru after the presentations of the Subaru Impreza sedan and five-door concepts that have been revealed over the last few months. The XV concept seems to display similar lines to the two concepts listed above, even though we only saw a tiny image.

We do not know anything else about the model, but we shouldn’t have to wait much longer given that the Geneva Auto Show kicks off in early March.
