Parts Advisor

Compensation includes: Salary base and benefits (medical, dental, disability and life insurance)

Duties of a Parts Advisor include:

  • Greet customers promptly at front counter.
  • Sell parts through the shop, by phone or over the counter to customers.
  • Assist customer with the selection of parts, suggest companion requirements and relay specials to ensure customer is aware of product line.
  • Provide price quotes and other related parts information via telephone.
  • Determine availability on out-of-stock items and, if requested by customer, submit emergency order.
  • Prepare orders daily for shipment, delivery or pick-up.
  • Review files weekly to keep track of back orders and return to vendor items.
  • Issue credit for parts returned.
  • Assist with back counter parts.

Requirements for the Parts Advisor position include:

  • Excellent customer service skill
  • Team player
  • Bilingualism is an asset
  • High School diploma attained
  • Having auto technical knowledge is an asset
  • Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Experience with computer program Reynolds & Reynolds (ERA) is an asset
