So, what happens when you have to redesign and re-engineer all the bits and pieces that have worked so well for you all these years?

The 2016 Toyota Corolla is ready to dominate the market

You’d think the fact that the Corolla outsells every single other model of car in the world would be enough to keep it relevant and popular, but Toyota knows better than that. Their latest edition of the Corolla showcases everything you’ve come to know about the model, with a host of brand new bits and bobs that bring it squarely into the modern day automotive world.

Toyota’s given the 2016 Corolla a new exterior look, along with a feature-laden interior that’s been updated to be both aesthetically pleasing and everyday-friendly. The Corolla’s as compelling to drive as it’s always been and just as reliable to own, as well. Winning recipe? We think so.

One of the main ingredients in that recipe for success has a great deal to do with the fact that the 2016 Toyota Corolla is a no-compromise kind of car. Here’s a vehicle that’s not only affordable, but also comes well equipped (even in base trim), offers great fuel mileage, a dynamic drive, plenty of interior space, modern amenities and features, and all from a company that prides itself on offering products that are well built and offer a great deal of reliability and quality. There’s no denying that Toyota understands the no-compromise recipe and they’ve brought together all the correct ingredients in the 2016 Toyota Corolla.

A lot of fun on the road with the 2016 Toyota Corolla

While there are four 2016 Toyota Corolla models to choose from, they all come equipped with a 1.8L 4-cylinder engine. For the CE, S, and LE CVT models you’ll have 132 horsepower and 128 lb-ft of torque on tap. Opt for the top-of-the-line LE ECO CVT’s version and the same engine produces 140 horsepower and 126 lb-ft of torque.

While a 6-speed manual transmission is available (CE and S models only), the CVT is the standard transmission on all 2016 Toyota Corolla models, and only the CE has an optional 4-speed automatic. Power is sent to the front wheels.

There’s something to be said for a car that’s popular the world over. Toyota’s really got a winning recipe in the Corolla, and this latest generation is sure to impress as much as the previous years. They made all the right updates, tweaks, and changes to keep it relevant in a fast-paced, quickly evolving industry.
